Are you thinking about thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail? This 3 hour virtual class will cover the basics of planning a thru-hike, including logistics, gear, nutrition, budget, safety, and physical and mental preparation. This interactive class will be taught live on Zoom by past thru-hiker and backpacking guide, Nicole Markovich. Participants will have time to ask questions and get personalized tips and advice throughout the workshop.
A minimum of 3 participants is required for this class to run. If the minimum is not met, we will contact you before the start of the class to discuss options.
