Learn the basics of backpacking with this introductory online course and start planning your next adventure! This class is designed for anyone that wants to learn about backpacking, whether you are an experienced hiker or new to the outdoors. Topics include essential backpacking gear, how to plan a trip, and safety in the backcountry. The class will be facilitated by owner and former Appalachian Trail thru-hiker, Nicole Markovich.
